How do I know if my RV has a ducted or non-ducted air conditioner?

Look at the ceiling assembly under your rooftop AC. If cooled air comes out of vents in the ceiling at the unit itself, with no ductwork running through the roof, you have a non-ducted system, which is what this assembly fits. If cooled air is delivered through registers in different parts of the coach via channels in the roof, you have a ducted system and need a ducted ceiling assembly instead.

Can I install the Brisk II ceiling assembly myself?

Yes. The non-ducted ceiling assembly installs from inside the coach using the existing 14" x 14" roof opening and the mounting hardware that ships with the kit. Basic hand tools, a helper to support the assembly during fitment, and confirmation that the roof gasket on the rooftop unit is in good condition are typically all that is needed.
