The Suburban SW6D Gas Water Heater delivers dependable performance and hassle-free maintenance. With a high-recovery 12,000 BTU/hour capacity, this model boasts a durable porcelain steel tank, efficient foam insulation, a generously sized drain, and a replaceable anode rod that absorbs corrosive electrolysis. Its one-piece, die-formed housing not only safeguards controls and connections but also facilitates easy accessibility. Designed to fit cut-out openings of previous models, the access door and frame effortlessly install on any RV side. The gas ignition is conveniently controlled by a switch positioned inside the RV, although the switch is sold separately. It's important to note that the installation and servicing of gas appliances should be carried out by a qualified service technician. The water heater employs a porcelain-lined steel tank with an anode rod to absorb corrosive electrolysis action, resembling the setup of a typical home water heater. Pressure tested twice during manufacturing, this water heater ensures integrity, and it features an indoor-mounted switch for ignition control, available separately.
