MaxxAir | Maxxshade Retractable RV Roof Vent Shade (No Lights included) | 00-03900 | Interior Mount | Reflective Finish Backing | White
The MAXXAIR MaxxShade 00-03900 is a retractable interior RV roof vent shade designed to block sunlight, UV rays, and solar heat entering through a standard 14" x 14" RV roof vent or ventilation fan. Its reflective-backed shade material helps deflect heat while reducing incoming light, helping create a more comfortable and darker RV interior.
The MaxxShade features a fully retractable, spring-loaded roller shade with a secure snap-lock closure that keeps the shade in position when extended. When the shade is not needed, it retracts out of the way, allowing normal operation of the roof vent or powered ventilation fan.
Installation is designed around the RV's existing vent garnish ring, making the MaxxShade a practical interior upgrade for many RV roof vent and fan installations. The shade mounts inside the RV rather than replacing the exterior roof vent or fan assembly.

Designed for 14" x 14" RV Roof Vents
The MaxxShade is designed as an interior accessory for standard14" x 14" RV roof vents and ventilation fans. It does not replace the existing roof vent, fan, lid, or garnish ring. Instead, the shade attaches to the interior garnish ring and provides an adjustable barrier against sunlight and heat.
The reflective backing is particularly useful during sunny conditions, helping reduce solar heat entering through the roof opening while also reducing the amount of direct sunlight reaching the RV's interior furnishings.
Retractable Design
When sunlight control is needed, simply extend the shade and engage the snap-lock closure. When natural light or maximum ventilation is desired, release the shade and allow the spring-loaded roller mechanism to retract it.
The shade is designed so the underlying roof vent or ventilation fan can continue to operate. MAXXAIR specifically states that the MaxxShade does not interfere with normal operation of the vent or powered ventilation fan.
