The Hughes Power Watchdog is a surge protector and EMS that monitors for voltage spikes, miswired pedestals, open neutral or ground faults, and high/low voltage conditions, then disconnects power before damage reaches your rig. Many full-timers run both in series. Pair either device with compatible RV plug adapters if you need to step between 30A and 50A pedestals.

Do I need a 30 amp or 50 amp Hughes surge protector for my RV?
